Emeralds also commonly have natural inclusions. These internal characteristics are part of the gemstone’s identity and are often called the stone’s garden. I do not see inclusions as flaws in the same way many people think of diamond inclusions.
Instead, I look at whether they affect beauty, durability, and the way the emerald performs in a finished ring.
Treatment disclosure is important too. Many emeralds are treated to improve their appearance, and that is normal in the gemstone world when it is properly disclosed.
